September 5, 2017: Research Race- Every Tuesday the library will be hosting a research race for one grade where students will work in teams to complete the research guide using library resources and create a brief presentation explaining what the learned.

September 6, 2017: Mystery Skype- Every Wednesday the library will host one grade level to Skype a class from another school and ask/answer yes/no questions to try to figure out where the other school is located.

September 8, 2017: Science in the Library- Every Friday the library will be hosting a science exploration for one grade relating to their current unit of study.

October 31, 2017: All Hallows Read- Join us, if you dare, for a spooky fun story time with a makerspace challenge.

November 6-10, 2017: Book Fair- Come shop the traveling bookstore and take home some of your favorite characters and authors!

November 9, 2017: Literacy Night- Join us for an evening of literacy activities, free books, and more!

November 30, 2017: Battle of the Books Preliminaries- Compete with other teams from our school to see who will be representing us at the district-wide Battle of the Books.

December 18-22, 2017: Escape to Winter Break- Before you can have your time off you have to escape the library by solving puzzles with your team.

January 9, 2018: Scaling the Solar System- We will be creating a scale model of the solar system in the south field to help us visualize the vastness of space.

February 23, 2018: Crime Solvers- Examine the crime scene, collect clues, determine a solution, and present your evidence to the court.

May 17, 2018: Battle of the Books Finals- Winners of our school level Battle of the Books will compete in the district-wide competition.
